Opening statement – remember you logos, pathos, ethos – it’s best to begin with a compelling narrative, draw your listeners in, then get into the facts – you must touch on how social media distorts or reveals the truth about the the Planned Parenthood Controversy, Black Lives Matter, and the Presidential Candidates.
Questions – consider challenging questions that you want to ask the other side. As a group, prepare ten at least for the other side.
Closing Statements – It is hard to write one without having heard the other side’s arguments, but try to think of a story your team wants to tell, facts that you want to raise, the most salient points you want to close on.
